Our Beliefs

Here is a summary of our beliefs:

• We believe the Bible is the true, verbally inspired, holy, infallible and preserved word of God. With the help of the Holy Spirit all believers can study and understand His word. We use the following Bible translations: The King James Version in English, and the Schlachter 2000 Bibel in German.

• The only way of salvation, reconciliation with God and eternity with Him in Heaven is by the grace of God through repentance and faith in Jesus and His sacrifice for all who believe when He died, shed His blood and rose again.

• Doctrinally we are; fundamental, independent, conservative, old-fashioned, dispensational, premillennial, and pretribulational, non-ecumenical Baptists. We practice baptism by immersion after salvation and closed communion.

• We believe the literal six 24 hour days Genesis account of Creation.

• We believe the family is God's plan for one man and one woman for life, and for the raising, education, and training of children, and as the Bible says in Psalm 127 “children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” We believe it is pleasing to the Lord to worship Him as a family both in the home and church.

• It is important for believers to live, dress, and act in a manner pleasing to the Lord in all that they do. This is an important part of a godly witness in the home and in the world each day.
